 The American Legion and University of Minnesota Lecture in Brain Sciences

     The American Legion and University of Minnesota Lecture in Brain Sciences is an annual event that features some of the most prominent investigators in neuro-research.  Nobel prizes winners Eric Kandel and Gerald Edelman are among the keynote speakers  that have presented at this lecture series, held each Spring, at the University of Minnesota campus.

     The 2006 lecture featured Pasko Rakic, M.D., Ph.D.,Duburg Professor of Neurobiology and Neurology at Yale University’s School of Medicine, who presented "Making Maps of the Mind: Molecular Mechanisms of Neuronal Migration"
